Hi! You are at my home page. I am Denis Larkin, Ph.D. student at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics, Novosibirsk, Russia. I live in the Academic town 40 km from the Novosibirsk city. Currently I work at the Laboratory of Developmental Genetics. My work is connected with mapping of pig and shrew genomes. I map porcine chromosome 12 and shrew chromosome hn which are homologous to human chromosome 17. You can reed more about my academician activities from my CV. I also would be glad if you see the latest results of my research of pig and shrew synteny.

I like traveling. You can see some photos from our expedition to the Southern coast of the Artic Ocean in 1996. There we studied northern geese and the expedition was funded by the National Geographic Society

You also can take a look at my photos from Plant and Animal Genome Conference VI, 1998.
